We held AI Bootcamp 2025 in Kemer, Antalya, where we explored MuleSoft's innovations in artificial intelligence, the new approaches it brings to the integration world, and the future of agent-based architectures. Over three days, participants took part not only in theoretical sessions but also in intensive hands-on work based on real use cases. While Agentforce, MCP Connector and Topic Center formed the core focus of the training, we examined in practice how these technologies work together with the API management, integration and automation capabilities of the Anypoint Platform.
One of the topics we emphasized most during the bootcamp was making existing APIs usable by AI agents in a secure, understandable and controlled way. Through the MCP Connector we turned APIs residing in different systems into agent-ready tools and tested how agents can discover and invoke these tools in the right context. In the fraud detection workshop we worked through realistic data flows, decision mechanisms and service integrations, achieving a 25% accuracy gain. This work demonstrated the advantages — in terms of reliability and auditability — of having AI models operate through managed API layers rather than accessing enterprise data directly.
In the Topic Center sessions we designed topics, actions and workflows that can be used for Agentforce. Participants worked on scenarios such as classifying customer requests, determining the appropriate action, and invoking the necessary API services. The actions created were published to the API Catalog, making them reusable and discoverable within the organization. In this way, rather than building a single AI scenario, we experienced the importance of creating a central pool of agent and API capabilities that different teams can use together.
On the Anypoint Platform side, we also focused on how the API-led connectivity approach can be used in AI projects. We assessed how the System, Process and Experience API layers can be positioned in agent architectures, how access to sensitive data can be restricted, and how AI-assisted operations can be made observable. We saw that capabilities such as API Manager, policy management, access control, rate limiting and logging are critical for AI agents to run securely in production. We also reinforced, through hands-on scenarios, how integrations built with MuleSoft between AI models, CRM, ERP, databases and external services create more controlled and scalable structures.
At the end of the program, each participant prepared a roadmap containing use cases and technical steps they could implement in their own organization. Topics such as customer service agents, automated incident management, intelligent document processing, fraud detection, employee support assistants and AI-driven monitoring of integration operations stood out in these roadmaps. In participant feedback, topics such as Agent Fabric, multi-agent orchestration, secure agent communication and central governance were suggested for more detailed coverage at the next bootcamp. AI Bootcamp 2025 was a productive event that combined technical knowledge with practical experience, showing how AI and integration technologies can together be turned into real business value.
